When the chandelier is mounted above the bedside table, a distance of approximately 30 cm will be maintained between the top of the furniture and the top of the light fixture.

To create a pleasing visual aesthetic, you can suspend two light fixtures with a distance of 76 cm between them and at a height of 91 cm from the top of the table/island to the top of the chandelier.

In-line suspended lighting fixtures

A linear fixture should not exceed 2/3 the length of a table or island.

Above the dining table

The device should not be wider than the dining table. We recommend narrowing the width of the furniture by 13/15 cm. Always leave a distance of 76/89 cm from the table top to the top of the chandelier.

Above a round dining table

Also in this case it is important to leave a distance of 76/91 cm from the table top to the top of the chandelier. Also, the device you choose should be 1/2 or 3/4 of the diameter area of ​​the table.

In a corridor

The installation of the lighting fixture in the entrance always takes place at a minimum height of 200 cm from the floor to the top of the fixture and at a distance of 120 cm between it and the wall or door.

On the high ceilings

For these ceilings of 300 cm or much higher, use a large chandelier with arms. Most light fixtures in the Select Design portfolio come with 180cm chains and approximately 390cm cables.

When choosing to hang a group of accessories, the odd number is ideal for creating a pleasing visual effect. Furthermore, mounting them at different heights from the top of the furniture to the top of the light source (maximum height differences of 5 cm) gives dynamism to the composition.

These small lighting fixtures perform multiple functions, both to illuminate a small area and to create an intimate atmosphere. Beautiful and extremely practical, the sconces can be wall mounted above a chest of drawers, a desk or in pairs on either side of a work of art.

In most living rooms, living rooms, hallways, dining rooms, sconces are mounted at a distance of 153 cm or 183 from the floor to the top of the lamp, and the center point of the shadow cast by the lamp should be at eye level.

Installation of wall lights in pairs

A pair of wall lights always creates a pleasant visual effect. For their installation we recommend maintaining a distance of 15 cm from the door frame, from the window to the lighting fixture. In a medium-sized room you can leave a maximum distance of 180 cm between them. In large rooms it is possible to leave a distance between 240 and 300 cm.

Installing sconces above the bed.

Correct mounting of a sconce above the bedside table is done based on your height or that of your partner. Stand next to the bed and measure the height from the floor to the shoulders. At this height you will mount the light fixture above the bedside table. If the partner who has a greater height must also be taken into account, then the middle of the two heights will be found and mounted at that level.

Over a console or sink.

It is recommended to mount the lighting body at a height of 61/76 cm from the top of the console or sink to the top of the light source. Even in the bathroom, the wall light bulb should be mounted at eye level so as to avoid the formation of shadows on the face of the person who is shaving.
